Reservations Future is in a Fog
Hello all fellow employee's out there, Do you feel as I do that our future is in a large wall of FOG? We do not know what the type of RES function that our offices will be handling, what style of leadership we will have from management ( NW vs DL ). I want to move along the combination of NWA and DL into One Great Airline. This is our time to shine and show the world that we the employees of NW and DL can overcome any differences that we have, and take care of our customers. By doing this we will make our future secure and this will bring rewards to us and our colleagues via more money and incentives. I know that there are a lot of questions out there, so lets ask them. Lets start right here, and begin taking our future in our own hands.

Reservations furture in a Fog
I was told that the IAM wanted to wait till a new member of the Mediation Board to be appointed by the President. I think that this just shows that the IAM is stalling to delay the Vote and keep collecting our Union Dues. I also feel that if the IAM were operating in our best interest that they our have moved for solving the seniority problem and filed for Representation elections with in the week of the merger. They did this in the merger of US Airways and America West. Whats the difference here? Both airlines were union, where DL does not have a Union and NWA does. The IAM has been out side the DL stations hading out info of the benifits of unions for a while now, and I thinkt that all parties could make an informed choice. I could be wrong, and I am open to comments, if anyone has any info to add or contradict please respond.
